What is a lightbox?

A lightbox is a "folder" that you create on our website in which you can store and manage sign designs that you are interested in and associate them with a particular project if you want.

Your lightboxes will help you stay organized. When you find a design that you like, you can save it to a lightbox continue searching for more designs. You can create as many lightboxes as you want, and store as many images as you want!

Most people use lightboxes to store designs they're interested in relating to a particular project or client. Once you've created a lightbox and added designs to it, you can remove any that you don't want, or purchase only the sign designs you need for a particular project.

No need to save images to your desktop or write down design numbers, we can store all that info for you! Each time you login to your account, you will be able to view your lightboxes and manage your sign designs.

Designer Upload Guidelines
  1. Keep your digital files clean and organized! Try to minimize the use of gradient mesh and clipping mask if possible.  The basic design must be clean lined vectors that can be used to create production files from when the time comes.  You may use textures and placed files for fills and backgrounds, but be sure the main sign design is a clean vector based object.
  2. Make sure your design falls within the confines of the artboard and always check outside the artboard area for any stray points or paths.
  3. Your vector file should have all filled paths closed for better compatibility. Your files should have all stray points and loose ends cleaned up.
  4. Convert your type to outlines. Creating outlines of your type converts each letter to its own vector shape.
  5. Save your vector image/illustration/icon(s) as an .EPS VERSION 8 (Encapsulated Postscript) file. Your EPS file must be saved as an EPS VERSION 8.
  6. Create a jpg image of your design file, max width 300px max height 480px.  If possible, make this preview a portrait style layout rather than landscape.
